A gentle reminder for anyone feeling overwhelmed and not sure where to start

While there’s plenty of work to do in mutual aid, at the end of the day what we’re here to do is stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our neighbors. This list of ways to get plugged in can be intimidating, but please know that each and every one of these is an invitation – it is someone in our community reaching out their hand and asking you to say hello and share in our project of building a stronger, safer, more loving community in Northeast FL.

We want you to know that we’re happy you’re here, and you are not alone. It takes effort and no small amount of vulnerability to show up and join something unfamiliar. But we hope you decide to take that step. We hope that you take a chance and join us in this project. So that you can be the one to reach out your hand to the next person and tell them they are not alone.
